Repeat Prescriptions
There are three ways to order your repeat prescriptions:
Need an emergency prescription or run out of your regular medication?
We do not issue on the day repeat prescriptions
Did you know you can request emergency prescription without contacting your GP surgery? You can request emergency supply of your repeat medication by visiting https://111.nhs.uk/guided-entry/medicines-help
Prescription will be sent to your local pharmacy this will take 3 working days (depending on pharmacy processing time)
Abbey Mead Dispensary
We are able to dispense to patients who live in a rural area. If you are eligible you will be asked to register for this service when you join the practice, or if you change address.
Requests for repeat prescriptions for dispensing patients can be made in the same way as normal repeat prescriptions via the website/ app or completing a form via the surgery
Please Note prescriptions are processed Monday to Friday. If you prescription is processed over the weekend, please note it will not be ready for collection until after 3 working days
Housebound, infirm or elderly patients can telephone their request to our dispensary team.
Opening Hours:
9.00am – 1.00pm & 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Monday to Friday
Dispensary is closed for lunch Monday to Friday 1pm – 2pm
