This week we have started vaccinating those patients who are unable to leave their homes and travel to our clinics at Crosfield Hall. We will be working through the list of our housebound patients over the next few weeks. If you or your loved one have previously had a home visit for the flu jab, or are regularly visited by our community nurses at home, it is likely you/they are on this list so will not have been contacted about travelling to Crosfield Hall. Those on our housebound lists will be phoned about a visit over the next two weeks.
Working as a network with Alma Road Surgery and North Baddesley Surgery, we held another vaccination clinic this week and we are in the process of booking three further clinics next week inviting patients for their first dose of the COVID vaccine. We hope to have offered everyone aged over 80 an appointment for their first dose by the end of next week, and we will begin to start contacting those aged over 75. This will be via a phone call.
As always, please avoid calling the practice for more information on the vaccine so we can keep our phone lines free. We can only offer first doses of the vaccine at the moment, and only to those in the age priorities as set out by national policy. Please continue to follow guidance, stay safe, and we will contact you when it is your turn.
