Face Coverings

Although the Government has announced their ‘Living with Covid’ plans – some of which come into effect from 24 February 2022 – GP practices are still awaiting the formal guidelines for healthcare settings. We will update our patients as soon as more information is known but for now,  the UK Health Security Agency’s Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Guidance remains in place for staff and patients in general practice and hospital settings.
This means that we will still require patients to wear face masks (or face shields) while visiting the practice. And as we are a higher risk environment, social distancing measures remain in place. This is to ensure that we keep our patients and staff safe.
We will continue to review as updated guidance is provided for general practice and we will keep patients informed of any changes. Thank you for your continued co-operation.
